Please compare and/or contrast the journey to human self-knowledge in the ancient narratives of both manna and Oedipus Rex. How does each figure come to teach us certain lessons about humanity, and what it truly means to be distinguished and dignified? Settle on one specific point of contrast or comparison between the two texts.
