Common form of the switch statement:
The common form of the switch statement is as shown below:
switch switch_expression
case caseexp1
action1
case caseexp2
action2
case caseexp3
action3
% etc: there can be many of these
otherwise
actionn
end
The switch statement begins with the reserved word switch, and ends with reserved word end. switch_expression is compared, in series, to the case expressions (caseexp1, caseexp2, etc.). If the value of the switch_expression matches the caseexp1, for illustration, then action1 is executed and the switch statement ends. If the value matches caseexp3, then the action3 is executed, and in common if the value matches caseexpi, where i can be any of the integer from 1 to n, then actioni is executed. When the value of the switch_expression does not match any of the case expressions, the action is taken after the word or else is executed.
Changing Dimensions: In addition to transpose operator, the MATLAB has some built-in functions which change the dimensions or configuration of matrices, involving fliplr, resh
Illustration of nested function: The output arguments are distinct from variables. The scope of an output argument is merely the nested function; and it cannot be used in the
Error-Checking for Integers: As MATLAB uses the type double by default for all the values, to check to make confirm that the user has entered an integer, the program have to c
Writing to Files: There are many lower level functions which can write to files. We will focus on the fprintf function that can be used to write a file and also to append to a
bar and barh functions: For a matrix, the bar and barh functions will group altogether the values in each and every row. The illustration is as shown: rm = randint(2,4,[1
Example of Recursive functions: This definition is recursive as a factorial is defined in terms of the other factorial. There are two parts to any recursive definition: the co
Minimum and Maximum Value The MATLAB has built-in functions for numerous statistics. For illustration, min and max to find the minimum or maximum value in a data set. >> x
Matrix of Plots: The other function which is very useful with any type of plot is subplot that creates a matrix of plots in the present Figure Window. The three arguments are
Animation: In this part we will observe a couple of ways to animate a plot. These are visuals, therefore the outcomes can't really be shown here; it is essential to type these
Indexed empty matrix: The Individual elements cannot be eliminated from matrices, as matrices always have the similar number of elements in every row. >> mat = [7 9 8; 4 6
