Cloning

Cloning is the procedure of creating an identical copy of something. It together refers to procedures used to form copies of DNA fragments (molecular cloning), cells (cell cloning), or organisms. This animation inplies you to the concept of "molecular scissors" that are used to cut the DNA within fragments. This can be completed by using enzymes called restriction endonucleases (or restriction enzymes), in which digest DNA at sequence-specific sites.
