Chi Square Test as a Test of Homogeneit

The X² test of homogeneity is an extension of the chi square test of independence of attributes. It is designed to determine whether two or more independent random samples are drawn from the same population or from different populations. In place of one samples used in the test of independent, we shall be having two or more samples.
