Define Chemical Deterioration - Underwater inspection of Bridge?

Chemical deterioration may occur in concrete, which has not been properly compacted, or through environmental pollution. The attacks ultimately lead to corrosion of reinforcing steel, which finally results into physical deterioration of the concrete.
