Chances of clinical risks, Biology

Assignment Help:

A foreign DNA has to target a precise chromosomal site and integrate with the host DNA. Are the methods of gene therapy strong enough to produce desired expression without mistakes? Even during somatic gene therapy there are chances of entry of genetic material into gametic cells. If the selection of vectors or target cells is not properly made, offspring of the patient might get affected (Sade and Khushf, 1998).
