Categories of losses of prestress

We may put various losses in either of two categories : Losses which take place during transfer of  prestress and those which take place after the transfer of  prestress have taken place. Los of prestress due to friction and curvature of  ducts and loss of prestress due to slip in anchorage  take place only in post-tensioned construction as there is no scope far them to occur in pre-tensioned construction.
