Professional dress code:

Mindy, is a medical office staff employee who deals with patients, so she should follow a professional dress code which is simple and pleasing. Instead Mindy loves to wear trendy and stylish clothes, being hip and looking catchy which is completely no when being in a social job mainly a medical office staff. In her case, Mindy likes jewellery because she want to look brighter and clinker but definitely the work place is not the right location for her because the profession demands an appearance of simple looking and minimum or no glittering on the body like jewellery which includes the nose rings, long ear rings, lip rings, tongue studs, chains, etc. Even hair setting should be clean and decent as funky hair styles are not acceptable in a professional dressing code. Colouring the hair, using different colour ribbons and clips also indicate an unprofessional dressing code. Mindy is frequently warned about her dressing code as it reflects a bad and indecent image upon her to the people who visit the work place like the hospitals, medical centres etc.
Every occasion we grace needs certain dressing strategy. One should dress according to the occasion and need of the hour, as too heavy or too light dressing gives a bad image about oneself. Wearing of miniskirts and jeans to a wedding is awful and impacts an unplanned mind set and improper planning too. In the workplace though Mindy is comfortable in short and miniskirts and yet feels free to communicate with the patients, it is absolutely big mistake of wearing it. It is not right as the attire draws the patients and Doctor’s attention. The workplace is where everyone pays attention in what they do and mainly concentrate on one’s own work. It’s not right to disturb or distract others by our actions and dressing sense as work is worship and a divine place.
I feel the first simple look is the best for Mindy as she looks simple and elegant in her mom’s dress with neat and good hair style and simple black shoes. This is the perfect attire of a profession for a medical staff as it demands for one. As the work involves lot of moving around for the files and also for the equipment wearing heels would cause discomfort and may also cause leg sprains, so Sneakers would be a best choice but the colour should be black or brown depending on the attire, as they are comfortable for movement, flip flops should be avoided as they are trendy and look shabby on wearing as a professional attire. This is the reason why Mindy is always warned by her boss for wrong attire, she should change her dressing sense and grace the occasions in proper and suitable attires to project a professional and decent image accordingly, as people respect those after all.
