Assignment Help:

Calculate values of KI - thick cylinder:

If cracks of 6 mm and 12 mm length are separately present only one side of inner surface in radial direction find two values of KI.

Solution

 For r0  / ri = 7 and a / (r0 - ri)= 0.1 , from Figure , Y = 0.43.

For r0  / ri =  7 and a /( r0 - ri ) = 0.2 , from Figure , Y = 0.40.
