Describe the full range of recruitment documents that are used by BSiX in the recruitment and selection of a Learning Centre (Library) Administrator.

What documents do you need to cover?

Job description
Person specification
Application forms and
Short listing form

Each must be explained fully in the context of where they are used in the recruitment and selection process for BSix.

You also need to explain the purpose of the contract of employment at BSiX.

How to do it – what layout should you use?
For each document the following:
1. Describe the purpose of the document
Ex: Job Description

A job description is used to ……. ) Or (The purpose of a job description is to ……).

Use your own words for this description

2. Describe specifically what the job description for Learning Centre Administrator at BSiX is used for.

3. Describe the stage of the recruitment process that the job description is used at in BSiX

4. Using examples from the BSix job description; describe the types of information that should be included in a good job description and briefly explain why they are important. (If you think BSiX has left anything out of its job description that may be important, say what it is and why leaving it out may be a mistake)
