Q. Briefly explain working of Michelsons Interferometer?
Michelson designed an instrument for the measurement of wavelength of sodium light, thickness of thin film and for many applications. The instrument is based on principle of interference of light known as Michelson's Interferometer.
It is based on principle of interference of light by the way of division of amplitude. According to this the incident beam is divided into two parts and sent into two perpendicular directions and brought back together by using plane mirror to interface each other.
Determine the surface integral for the vector function over the surface S. where S is the surface of the unit cube bounded by x=0, x=1, y=0, y=1, z=0, z=1.
KINEMATICS II 1. The concept of the derivative of the function is exceptionally important. The derivative shows that how fast the function changes when its argument is changed.
