Binary Number Systems
As mentioned earlier this number is used by digital systems like microprocessor and other digital circuits. This number systems use only two digits zero and one each binary digit is called a bit. But for digital systems the meaning of and are different. For these systems it means two distinct states like switch off/ on voltage low / high current in the line no/ yes. In different parts these two states might be different which may be denoted by 0 and 1. In this sense we can say digital systems understand 0 and 1 hence to use such systems we have to learn binary number systems. As we use decimal number systems we should know how to convert a number from decimal to binary and vice versa.
Define Lines Parameters In power system analysis, the parameters of interest when modelling power lines are: inductance, capacitance, series resistance and leakage resistance.

Explain Medium length lines? Medium length lines cover lines in the range of 50 to 150 miles (80 to 240 km). Due to the increased length of the line, the shunt capacitance of t
Q. For themagnetic circuit shown in Figure, neglecting leakage and fringing, determine the mmf of the exciting coil required to produce a flux density of 1.6 T in the air gap. Them
Q. Determine the h-parameters for the circuit shown in Figure and obtain the transfer function V 2 /V 1 when I 2 = 0.
Elementary Induction Machines In the discussion that followed Equation, the third possiblemethod of producing constant torque was to cause the mmf axes of stator and rotor to r
