Assumptions for Polygon or Area Clipping Algorithm
Assumption: The viewport and window are rectangular. So only, by identifying the maximum and the minimum coordinates that is, (Xwmax, Ywmax) and (Xwmin, Ywmin) we can explain the size of the overall viewport or window.
Viewport and Window are unlimited to only rectangular shapes they could be of any other shape that is Convex or Concave or both.
For good understanding of the clipping conception refer to following figure:

De Casteljeau algorithm: The control points P 0 , P 1 , P 2 and P 3 are combined with line segments termed as 'control polygon', even if they are not actually a polygon although
Geometric Continuity There is another notion of continuity called geometric continuity. Although the idea existed in differential geometry, the concept was introduced for geome

Orientation Dependence - Modeling and Rendering The outcomes of interpolated-shading models are dependent of the projected polygon's orientation. Because values are interpolat
Limitations of Cohen Sutherland line clipping Algorithm The algorithm is merely applicable to rectangular windows and not to the other convex shaped window. Consequently, a
Define transformation. Explain all basic transformation
Find the normalization transformation N, which uses the rectangle W(1, 1); X(5, 3); Y(4, 5) and Z(0, 3) as a window and the normalized deice screen as viewpoint.
Modelling and Rendering a surface Common practice in modelling and rendering a surface is to approximate it by a polygonal surface. By a polygonal surface we mean a surface whi
