Angler survey

A survey used by sport fishery managers to calculate the total catch, fishing effort and catch rate for the given body of water. For instance, the whole effort might be estimated in the angler-hours and the catch rate in fish per angler-hour. The whole catch is then estimated as the product of estimates of the whole effort and the average catch rate.
