A generic algorithm is mostly analysed on basis of subsequent parameters: the space complexity (amount of space required) and the time complexity (execution time). Generally we give much more significance to time complexity comparatively to space complexity. The following section specifies the criteria of analysing complexity of parallel algorithms. The basic parameters needed for analysis of parallel algorithms are as follow:
• Time Complexity
• The Total Number of Processors Required
• The Cost Involved
Q. Define the Register Addressing mode? When operands are taken from registers implicitly or explicitly it is known as register addressing. These operands are termed as regis
Q. Block diagram of an associative memory? The block diagram of an associative memory is displayed in Figure below. It comprises of a memory array and logic for m words with n
Q. What is interpreter? An interpreter translates each high-level-language statement into its equivalent set of machine-language instructions, which are then executed right awa
Define buffering. A buffer is a memory area that keeps data while they are transferred among two devices or among a device and an application. Buffering is done for three reas
Define the types of software life cycle Any system progress refers to the initial part of the software life cycle: analysis, design, and implementation. During object oriented

Application and Function Areas - artificial intelligence: Individual applications and function often drive "AI" research much more than the long term relative field described
What do you mean by memory mapped I/O? In Memory mapped I/O, there is no particular input or output instructions. The CPU can manipulate I/O data residing in interface register
What is an unsigned integer constant? An integer constant is the number in the range of - 32768 to + 32767; because an integer constant always gets two bytes in memory and in t
