Hypotension, hyperkalemia, taste disturbance, angiedema, renal insufficiency. In the absence of any symptoms of hypotension, and normal renal function and K + levels, the dosage should be titrated to the dosages proved effective in clinical trials (captopril 50 mg three times daily, enalapril 10 mg twice daily, lisinopril 10 mg daily, or the equivalent) over a period of 1-3 months.
