Advantages of using EDI over paper systems

EDI and other related technologies keep company money by providing an option to, or replacing information flows that need a great deal of human communication and materials for example paper documents, meetings, faxes, etc. Even when paper documents are preserved in similar with EDI exchange, example printed shipping manifests, electronic trade and the make use of data from that exchange decreases the handling costs of sorting, distributing, organizing, and searching paper documents.
