Advantages of OSPF

OSPF an is having different  advantages. These are as follows.

OSPF  is an open standard supported by many  vendors.

OSPF converges quickly.

OSPF authenticates protocols exchanges to meet security goals.

OSPF  sends  multicast frames rather  than broadcast frames. Which reduces (DPU utilization  on LAN lost.

OSPF networks  can be designed in hierarchical  areas, which reduces memory  and CPU requirements on  routers.

OSPF doesn't  use a lot of bandwidth.
