What is the advantage of using prototype software development model instead of waterfall model?

The waterfall model: This is the classic SDLC model, with a sequential and linear method that has goals for every development phase. The waterfall model examines task scheduling, because there are no iterative or overlapping steps. One drawback of the waterfall is that it does not permit for much revision.
