Acid dyes:

These are commonly salts of sulphonic acids and can be helpful to silk, wool and nylon. The presence of sulphonic acid group creates them water soluble. These dyes are related from an acidic bath. The polar acidic group sets converse along with the basic groups of the fabric. Orange-1 is a helpful acid dye.
