AC Input Resistance in Common Emitter Configuration

Ratio of change in base emitter  voltage  ( ? VBE )  to  the  resulting  change  in  base  current  ( ? IB)  at  constant collector-emitter voltage (VCE) i.e.,

In CE configuration, typical value of input resistance is of the order of a few hundred ohms.
