2-Point Source Interference Changing Wavelength

The intrusion of two sets of circular waves along with the similar frequency and the similar amplitude results within a standing wave pattern. These standing wave patterns are called as two-point source interference patterns because they result from the interference of circular waves from two sources. A standing wave pattern is a wave pattern in that there are points along the medium which appear to be standing still.
