week 5:Feedback below
Hi
This course is not going to mold you into a budget expert. In fact, you will need a year or more of finance/accounting classes for that to happen.
For this project, you were to look at all costs and justify them from a base of zero. You were to clearly label everything so that it was readable and easy to understand. So for example, you budgeted for 24,185 in regular staffing. Was that dollars, hours, how long a time period was it, etc.? Clear labeling would help your budget.
Because I am not familiar with your submitted budget it is hard for me to determine what you FTE budget is stating exactly.
Your justification off to the side is quite reasonable, but the misspelled words and grammatical errors are very distracting to me. As a nurse leader I would not want to see one of my staff submit a document with those types of errors in it.
For your Week 10 project, submit the budget that your preceptor uses. Give more information about the budget, label it clearly, show justification for it and have someone proofread your writing. That should result in a very workable document.
