A description of the team member roles and working/reporting relationships for this project. Were project organization charts and position descriptions created, followed?
How the team communicates For example, was a communications plan created before the project was launched? How often is project information communicated? To who? What forms do communications take? How often does the project team meet? Are regular status
reports produced?
Challenges in project management For example: Ask your interviewee about the challenges they face as a project manager? What does your interviewee think are the biggest threats to the successful completion of a project?
Pandemic impact. For example, how has the pandemic impacted how your interviewee has managed their project(s) during the last couple of years? How they work with/manage their teams? How they communicate with their team? Etc etc.
Your interviewee's academic background For example: What education do they have?
Have they taken courses in project management? How did they acquire their job? Do they hold the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation? What is their opinion of the PMP designation?
Practical information that could benefit you as a developing project manager For example:
What associations should you consider joining? What books/journals/websites do they recommend? What advice can they give you to help you get into this field? What skills/competencies do they see as being necessary for a career in project management?
