For each of the following, state the test statistic you would use for a hypothesis test(z, t, F, chi squared(X2), or unknown).

a) You would like to test to see if the population variance is equal to a specified value and the population is normally distributed.

b) You would like to compare the average time it takes a group of males to run a mile before beginning an exercise program to the time after completing the program. Assume population times are normally distributed.

c) You want o test to see if the variances of two processes are equal. Again, you may assume you have sampled froma a population that is normally distributed.

d) You want to test to see if the mean yield of cheery orchard is a specified value. The population mean is known and the standard deviation is unknown. Assume the sample comes from a population that is normally distributed.
