You have only just started your interrogation of the financial staff in the cartel's office on the 20th floor of a high rise on Sukumvit road when the calm is disturbed by the sound of breaking glass. With only minutes to spare you jump through the broken class and land safely on the window washer platform. You release the safety latch and the platform begins to descend with an acceleration of 6.2 m/s2. As you start to move down you gently lob a small explosive into the room to destroy the Cartel's financial records and take care of the unwanted guests. The window washer platform has a mass of 85 kg and is suspended by two ropes. If your mass is 75 kg, what is the tension (in N) in each rope as you descend?
