You construct a capacitor using a Pyrex drinking glass. The glass is 10 cm tall with an inner radius of 3.4 cm and an outer radius of 3.7 cm. You line the inside and outside curved surfaces with aluminum foil to act as the plates.

a.) What will be the capacitance of your home-made capacitor?

b.) Re-compute the capacitance if the following construction changes were made.

Using a larger drinking glass, with the same height but with the inner and outer radii both doubled.
