(a) Calculate how many garments Alfonce sewed in that week.

In that week, Alfonce spent 25 hours sewing garments.

(b) Calculate the rate per hour that Alfonce received.

Yetresh's gross salary is £1,980 per month. In a particular month she paid income tax of £265, trade union contributions, and 3.25% of her gross salary in pension contributions. Her total deduction from gross salary is £355.

Calculate:

(c) how much Yetresh paid in pension contributions for that month.

(d) how much Yetresh paid in trade union contributions that month.

(e) Yetresh's net pay as a percentage of her gross pay.
