WIP on April 1 (60% complete as to conversion costs) 1000 units

Units started during april                                                5000 units

Total to account for                                                         6000 units

Units completed and transferred out                               4000 units

WIP on April 30 (20% complete as to conversion costs   2000 units

total units accounted for                                                   6000 units

Costs pertaining to the month are as follows:

beginning inventory (DM, $54,000; conversion, $35,560) total $90,160

costs incurred during April (MD, $468,000, Conversion $574,060) total 1,042,060
