Respond to One of the clinics that are part of the company I work for has a list of patients who are having visits because they are part of a research, the type of appointment is very specific and although I don't know the legal agreements that exist between the clinic and the doctors carrying out this research something is very clear to all of us who work there and that is that the files of said patients cannot be shared with anyone other than the doctor who is carrying this out. In this case, there was a written legal agreement that stipulates the obligation and rights that both parties have and this is how any type of research must be carried through.
