Writing the "Cultural Event Report"
After visiting the museum or attending the musical event, review your notes and write a review of your experience at the art museum or performance. You are to write a 2-3 page report which be graded according to these instructions:

1. The name of the museum/performance you attended, the date you went there, the names of the people who accompanied you to the museum/performance (unless you went alone), and your initial reaction when you first arrived at the museum/performance.
2. The specific information (name of work, creator, date, etc.) and a brief description of your two (2) favorite pieces at the museum/performance.
3. A general summary of your visit to the museum/performance and your overall reaction to attending the museum/performance after your visit there was over. (Note: the "overall reaction" is generally quite different from the "initial reaction.")
4. The clarity and organization of the content in the paper.
5. The adherence to Standard English and APA formatting.

o This paper should adhere to APA style standards including the following: typed, double-spaced, Times New Roman 12 pt font, one-inch margins on all four sides, APA format.
o No reference page is necessary since you will not be using any outside sources.
o In addition to the 2-3 required pages, a title page is also to be included. The title page is to contain the title of the assignment, your name, the instructor's name, the course title, and the date.
o Your museum/event "choice" should be submitted to the appropriate Dropbox basket by the end of Week 5 for approval. Reports should be submitted to the appropriate Dropbox basket by the end of Week 10. (Note: If the museum/event "choice" has not been approved by the instructor prior to a student's visit to a museum or attendance at a musical performance, the report will not be graded
