Directions For this writing assignment, you are to assume that you are a paralegal working for a solo practitioner. You are writing a business letter to a client. You may use any format you like, as long as it is professional. Below is a link to a template you may use if you like.

Business Letter Template

The client came in last week for an initial client interview. She was in a car accident and wants to sue the other driver. You must convey the following information in a professional letter to her.

Acknowledge her interview and thank her for coming in.
Review the basic facts of the case. You will make these up, but they must include the date, time, and location of the accident along with any other basic facts you choose to include.
Let her know that the attorney will take the case.
Tell her that she will need to come back into the office next week to sign the complaint that the attorney is preparing.
She will be getting a separate letter in the mail with the terms of the representation (the fee, the length, the details).
Extend an offer to answer any questions she may have.

There is no page limit nor requirement, but the letter must be grammatically correct, professionally written, and follow an appropriate format. You may create the addresses, names and other details as you see fit.
