Question: Fake News Detection Read about Dr. Maite Taboada's work related to two different, but overlapping areas: discourse analysis and computational linguistics. She is part of the team of researchers in the Discourse Processing Lab at SFU. Check out this research project from the Discourse Processing Lab where they attempt to use Artificial Intelligence, AI, to detect if certain information on the web is fact or fake. Do you think we have the upper hand on detecting fake news?
