Question: Imagine you are going to meet with one of the major studios to pitch them on making a war film. Write the treatment you are going to submit to them. The first portion of your treatment should give an overview of what story you are going to tell, including exactly which war your movie will be about. The second portion of your treatment should make a case for why your movie has a good chance to be a success, given the politics (Overton Window) in place today, as well as current tastes in war films. You may choose any war you wish (American or not), but it has to be a real historical war, and not something like "The War for the Infinity Stones."
