Problem- I need to write the mechanism for the synthesis of Nylon-6,6 from adipoyl chloride and 1,6-hexanediamine. I am fine with writing the first reaction that leads to the first "thread" of Nylon-6, 6 + HCL. But how do I go on from there? Does this first product react with another adipoyl chloride or another 1,6-hexanediamine?

Our professor wants us to illustrate at least three additions of either monomer to the growing polymer chain however I have tried and am not getting anywhere.
