Problem- I have a solution of Copper Sulfate. Which has been mixed with 10ml of distilled water. I placed a copper rod into the solution and a stainless steep paperclip in as well. I then attached the positive end of a 9v battery to the paperclip and the negative end to the copper rod.
1. Write the half-reactions for what must have happened at each electrode for the reactions. Indicate what was oxidized and what was reduced.
