Sodium-23 is subjected to neutron bombardment to prouce sodium-24. While removed from the reactor, the sample is radioactive with initial beta activity of 2.54*104 dpm. Subsequent to 20 hours, the beta activity drops to 1.01*104 dpm. Write the equations for the neutron capture reaction as well as for the subsequent beta decay reaction. Find out the half-life of sodium-24 in hours.
