Pick any product you like. You should choose a product you use or are otherwise familiar with. Tell me what the product is, and describe it in a sentence or two. Your assignment: Write four pieces of advertising copy for the product you have chosen.

1. Write the advertising copy for a half-page newspaper ad that will appear in your local newspaper.

2. Write the advertising copy for a full-page magazine ad that will appear in a major national magazine.

3. Write the script for a 60-second radio spot that will run on the No. 1 radio station in a city such as Louisville or Nashville.

4. Write the script for a 30-second TV commercial that will appear on a national cable channel. In addition to writing the script for this commercial, describe each of the commercial’s scenes. In other words, for each scene tell me what words will be spoken, who will speak them, what is happening in the scene, what sound effects (music, etc.) will be used, and the length of the scene.
