Travel times to work. A labor specialist thinks that the mean travel time to work for all workers in North Carolina is 20 minutes. A random sample of 15 workers finds that their mean travel time is = 22.5 minutes. What are the null and alternative hypotheses for testing whether the true mean is different from 20 minutes?
