Please help me write letter in business format (using formal language) using the the following scenario and structure of letter

Structure of letter (Rule)

2nd pargraph: Background information. Be detailed and specific, but also stick to the point

Scenario 1

You have heard from many sources that Michael Clayton is white store owner, who secretly supports your cause. Michael Clayton believes wholeheartedly in the Civil Rights Movement but also fears reprisals if he removes segregation signs from his store. Clayton is highly respected in town; if he removes his signs, it could be important step towards ending segregation practices in Birmingham.

Write letter to Michael Clayton.

Since you know that he already supports your cause, use language to convince him that his actions would be of great help. Making personal connection is key; you are both on the same side.

You must thoughtfully allay his fears as well as inspire him to think of the good of others.
