Topic: Both Jaron Lanier and Wendell Berry argue about the ethical implications of using technology in their respective essays. Their arguments about dependency, addiction, manipulation, and consumption in relation to our use of technology are compelling and thought-provoking. For this essay, I'd like you to come up with your own argument in regards to the use of Addiction (cell phone, social media) and whether its adoption is useful to us or not. ou can discuss any aspect of the use of Addiction (cell phone, social media) you'd like but you need to frame your argument in similar terms to the authors we've just read. Your topic should be in regards to some current issue in Addiction (cell phone, social media) and one that impacts you personally.
