Explain how you plan to foster a sense of community in your classroom.
Discuss things you will do at the beginning of the year to establish a community and things you will do throughout the year to maintain a sense of community.
Describe two specific strategies (one paragraph each) that can be used to establish community.
Explain how each of these strategies will build classroom community.
Provide citations for your assertion.
Explain in one paragraph how building classroom community
1) provides for students for whom English is a second language and students with disabilities, and
2) provides for student safety. Provide a citation for your assertion. Specifically, make sure to include:
1. A paragraph detailing the activities you will engage in at the beginning of the year and throughout the year (i.e., on a continuing or as needed basis) to build/maintain a sense of community.
2. A paragraph identifying and describing one strategy you will use to build community - make sure to include a citation.
3. Another paragraph identifying and describing a different strategy you will use to build community - make sure to include a citation.
A paragraph explaining how building a classroom community supports students with special education needs, ESOL needs, and overall student safety. Make sure to include citations for each of your assertions (i.e., at least three citations (one for each group)).

Describe the different forms of instruction you plan to use and how you plan to group students. Be sure to explain how your instruction and grouping practices align with your teaching philosophy and your plan for managing students.
Specifically, this section must include:
1. The identification and brief description of at least threedifferent forms of instruction you plan to use in your classroom.
2. A clear description of how you will group students (e.g., based on ability, behavior) for each of the different forms of instruction you have selected.
3. An explanation of how your instruction and grouping practices align with your teaching philosophy.
4. An explanation of how your instruction and grouping practices align with your management style and your plan for behavior management.
