Write down one law that applies to sustainability. Describe its purpose and give an example of how it should be applied at work.
Write down an Australian/ International Standard that is relevant to corporate social sustainability. Describe its purpose.
Write down a Code of Practice that is relevant to sustainability and describe its purpose.
List four examples of environmental hazards as identified under legislation.
List the name of your workplace policy and procedure/guidelines that applies to sustainability (if you are studying, this will be as per the policy and procedure in the simulation pack).
Describe its purpose and give an example of how it should be applied at work.
List four environmental hazards that you might find relevant to your work role.
Describe your workplace procedures for reporting breaches and issues.
If you are studying this based on your work role of your choice, this will be as per the simulation pack.
List four resources that you regularly use at work and that it will be possible for you to measure usage of.
Following your workplace procedure and for each of the identified resources, measure your current usage over a specified period of time depending on the resources (e.g. a day, a week).
Record your results here and attach any suitable evidence such as checklists, charts or reports you have used.
Based on your resources measurement, what inefficiencies did you identify? Describe these.
There may not be inefficiencies for each resource but mention particular ones as they are relevant. There must be an inefficiency for at least one area.
