Overview
The goals of education can be accomplished through a variety of formats. Online education has gained tremendous popularity in the last two decades, but have schools that offered online education done so for purely pragmatic reasons? Or, have schools truly though through what best practices really ought to be? The goal of this project is to have students interact with a text that offers suggestions for a biblical line of thinking ought to be for online theological education.
Task
The student will write 4 to 6 pages Book Review of Teaching the World, using current APA format. The review must include the following:
1) Introduction
2) An overview of the main idea of the book as well as the themes, issues, and solutions the author presents.
3) Identification of the main thrust of the book and differentiation between the central and peripheral ideas.
4) A critical analysis of the book which interacts with the author's main idea.
5) A recognition of what the author's points are and what theological issues are prevalent within the book.
6) A critique of the author's ability to effective argue the thesis of the book.
7) Conclusion.
