Background Information: you have been asked to choose a painting that you have never examined, evaluated, or analyzed. The purpose of this research essay is for you to explore the possibilities of new information and for you to connect the information to a very influential artistic genre: painting. Paintings have ways of revealing the painters' feelings and ideas, such as joys or sorrows or mysteries. Our job as interpreters is to explore possible meanings.
Writing Prompt: in a five-page research essay, you will interpret a painting poem by completing the following steps.
