A mass of 0.25 kg is attached to a horizontal spring with a spring constant of 4.0 N/m. The spring is stretched and released and it is found that the velocity of the mass is -0.174 m/s and the acceleration of the mass is +0.877 m/s2 at time t = 0.15 s.

1. Write an expression for the position of the mass as a function of time.

2. What is the position of the mass and which direction is it moving at t = 0? 3. Sketch a graph of the position of the mass as a function of time.
