Your partner wants to buy a handgun to keep at home for protection. You are scared your five-year-old might find it, an action that could have devastating results, but understand your partner's desire to have the gun. How will you express your fear?
Your partner is an alcoholic and confesses that he needs counseling. Money is tight and you suspect that the alcoholism is merely an escape mechanism.
