• Supporting details lot each of your main points In your topic sentence
• Point - explanation / analysis - example or other supporting details

• Use logical, convincing support, details, and evidence to support your point
• Consider the opposing points of view (limned rebuttal)
• Refrain from repetition. fallacies, generalizations
• Must be unified, coherent, and well developed
• Every semence needs to relate to your thesis statement or your topic sentence
