Question 1: Undertake a PESTLE analysis of the drivers for change in Alert Logic. Create a PESTLE table showing each element and a series of bullet points identifying issues specifically relevant to this type of company. Then select the two most important current drivers for change -write approx. 400 words explaining why you consider these to be current, relevant drivers. You should try to underpin your written discussion with reference to academic theory. This answer is worth 35 marks. You should therefore be sure that you understand and can apply the PESTLE model.

Question 2: Write an academic critique of Kotter's 8 step change model (1996, revised 2014). You must include a range of academic opinions from authors other than Kotter, on the advantages, disadvantages and appropriateness this model. You should write approximately 800 words. This answer is worth 65 marks and you should therefore conduct in-depth academic research into Kotter's model, and how it can be applied in different types of organisations.

You do not need an introduction, or executive summary, but please answer the questions in chronological order and using an appropriate Heading to show where each new question starts. Please use a report style format, with appropriate paragraph breaks, good grammar and punctuation. In-text citations should be in the correct Harvard format with a full, alphabetical reference list at the end of your work.
