Experimental Economics
For the evaluation of the part of the course on Experimental Economics Programming that was taught by me you have to submit, using the upload link below, a zTree treatment ( in .ztt format) of your choice between the two proposed in the slides.
In case you submit a Dictator Game program, your maximum grade can be 2 out of 2.5 points in this part of the course. If you submit an Ultimatum Game program your maximum grade can be 2.5 out of 2.5 points.
Both games are described in detail in the aforementioned slides. You will have to submit a Z-tree treatment.
From the two options you will do the Ultimatum Game.
You will have to write a Z-tree treatment for the Ultimatum game.
A) Dictator Game
• Two players.
• They have to share 10 Euro.
• The dictator (player 1) and the receiver (player 2) are randomly chosen.
• The dictator decides how much to offer to the receiver out of the 10 Euro.
• The receiver gets a payoff equal to the offer of the dictator and the dictator keeps the rest.
B) Ultimatum game
• Two players.
• They have to share 10 Euro.
• The proposer (player 1) and the responder (player 2) are randomly chosen.
• The proposer decides how much to offer to the responder out of the 10 Euro.
• The responder is informed about the amount offered by the proposer.
• The responder decides whether to accept or reject the proposer's offer.
• If he accepts, he gets a payoff equal to the offer of the proposer and the proposer keeps the rest.
• If he rejects, both players receive nothing.
